Born and raised in Bogota, Columbia, Carolina moved to London to develop her craft. She studied at the London College of Communications where she focused on directing and editorial. She later joined the London Film School where she graduated with an MFA in directing with honors.
Her short film “Rosemary Jane” has been selected and screened at numerous film festivals around the world, premiering at the Palm Springs Short Film Festival. It also earned numerous awards including “Best of British” at the Entounters Film Festival, “Best Short Film” at Concorto Film Festival and was mentioned twice in the special category at the Skepto Short Film Festival. Carolina has been featured in Dazed Digital Magazine as “one of the five short film directors to look out for”.
Her new short film “A World For Her” got her a “Best Woman Director” nomination at the London Film Festival.
