Ene Farina is a world renowned award-winning director, art director and film editor.
Before embarking on a directing career, Ene made a name for himself in cinema as an art director. The meticulousness of the role made him adept at designing sets and it allowed him to develop a keen sense and interest in aesthetics. Prior to his work as an art director, he started as an assistant director in small theaters, where he had the opportunity to observe directors and soak up everything going on from the importance of strong performance and cinematography to lighting and tone.
He describes his style as being a mix of unique and powerful visual elements amplifying the film to tell a larger story and narrative with a human connection.
He has received numerous accolades including Best Director at the New York Film Festival, Promax Gold Awards, Best Short film in La Habana International Film Festival. Other awards include the Trieste Film Fest Best Short, La Habana International Film Festival Best Short, Biarritz Latin American Film Festival Best Short, Chicago Film Festival Gold award Best Commercial and several gold and silvers awards at the New York International Film Festival, Fiap, Promax and London.
